declaration may lead to a fine or to seizure of the vehicle or vehicles,
or could result in both.
You are responsible for customs and duties assessments including fees
related to our lawyers’ fees and legal costs, related to this
shipment.
You are responsible for insuring your vehicle at the time of shipment
at your own expense with a insurance company of your choice or we

Baltic Auto Shipping, Inc. is not liable for loss, damage, delay,
miss-delivery or non-delivery caused by:
1. Acts of Nature (such as flood, hurricane etc.), public enemies,
riots, strikes, authority of law, nuclear reaction, radioactive contamination
2. Changes in the laws regulation of the country of destination which
may result in delays in the delivery of the vehicle.
3. Improper, incorrect of incomplete addresses or contact numbers
as set out by the sender or fact that the receiver no longer has the
phone number provided by the sender (unreachable) may result in delays
and sender will be held responsible for any fees that may result from
the delays.
Baltic Auto Shipping, Inc. shall not be liable for the loss by the
receiver or sender of any items that may be prohibited from being
sent in the vehicle to the country of destination including without
limiting the generality of the foregoing, negotiable instruments,
cash, precious metals, stones and jewelry and other objects that may
be determined by the regulating officials of the country of destination
as being objects in the nature of luxury objects or any other items
that were not declared as in the vehicle.
It is duty of the sender to:
1. Check with the country of destination for the applicable customs
rules of the country of destination so as to determine if the vehicle’s
delivered are duty free or for any customs charges associated at the
destination, further deliveries from destination port and or unloading,
that should be handled in the country of destination with the company
providing these services.
2. Check with Baltic Auto Shipping, Inc. or its representative the
time frame for delivery of the vehicle to country of destination and
in further tracking of the shipment.
3. Check with Baltic Auto Shipping, Inc. with any questions or concerns
regarding the shipment prior to sending it out.
In case of damage, these criteria must be met, or Baltic
Auto Shipping, Inc. cannot be held responsible for the damage, and
no compensation will be given out.
1. A claim must be filed with Baltic Auto Shipping, Inc. no later
than 7 days after unloading of the container.
2. Photos MUST be made inside the container in order for the claim
to be valid. Additional pictures can be taking after unloading to
show more detailed damage, but no claims will be accepted without
the photos taken inside the container, that is why consignee is REQUIRED
to be at the unloading site once the container is open. In case the
vehicle was loaded first in the container and there was no accessibility
to the vehicle, vehicles in front of it can be unloaded when making
the pictures for the damaged vehicle, but not the vehicle that is
being photographed, otherwise Baltic Auto Shipping, Inc. cannot be
held responsible because there is no proof left that damage was done
due to our loading.
3. Appraisal for the damages is a plus but is not required, unless
issue rises with an amount of compensation being given.

In no event Baltic Auto Shipping, Inc. be liable for any special,
incidental, or consequential damages, including, without limitation,
loss of profits or income, whether or not Baltic Auto Shipping, Inc.
had knowledge that such damages might be incurred.
